Purpose Of Role:
We have an exciting role open up in our Talent Acquisition function in China. The successful candidate will manage end to end recruitment for all open roles across BT in China and potentially the region. If you have a consultative approach to recruitment and excel at delivering and developing a high quality recruitment experience, then this could be the right role for you.
You will also be expected to add value by managing & improving process, increase quality of candidates, create cost-effective recruitment strategies and extend HR support on an ad hoc basis as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and develop excellent relationships with your designated managers and stakeholders.
Responsible for end to end recruitment delivery for all internal and external roles across BT, including senior management positions.
Work with hiring manager to understand job brief regarding vacancy and requirements
Build a Sourcing Strategy across multiple channels for all open roles.
Based on Sourcing strategy , post vacancies on internal and external channels or source via third parties
Do Initial CV review, pre-screening and create shortlist
Contacting and interviewing prospective candidates
Presenting hiring managers with appropriate shortlist’s of candidates
Coordinating interviews for stakeholders and hiring managers
Conducting HR level interviews with final candidate
Offer determination within specified budget and negotiation with candidate
Offer deployment
Onboarding and induction
Manage relationship with Preferred suppliers to ensure commitments are met and objectives are aligned.
Utilise all the channels available aiming to source candidates for the business directly in as many cases as possible without causing detriment to the business in terms of both time and quality of candidates.
Work in partnership with managers to provide challenge, advice, direction and support on recruitment strategy, delivery and related policies and procedures.
Developing excellent and trusted relationships with hiring managers and the business for future work.
Works with candidates to provide the highest levels of service and represent BT as an efficient and professional employer of choice.
Working with various channels and suppliers to ensure best in class service levels and efficient delivery based on the needs of the business. At the same time ensuring costs are managed and relationships maintained.
Managing relationships and performance of Preferred Supplier recruitment suppliers against agreed SLA’s. Providing feedback and proposals for ongoing improvement of service provided.
Accountable for the entry standards of all external recruitment activity
Business Impact:
Impact is short term and primarily functional in scope.
Carries out complex and specialized activities/projects.
Executes processes to meet customer needs
Essential Skills
Thorough experience of delivering end to end recruitment in an international environment, both through indirect and direct hiring channels
Proven and demonstrable experience of competency based interviewing of candidates at all levels, up to and including Senior Management.
Strong and proven experience of managing and working with 3rd party and preferred suppliers
Thorough knowledge and experience of all sourcing channels, including Print, Online, headhunting and new channels such as social media
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Experience in working with Taleo Enterprise Version Application Tracking System
Qualifications:
Typically: graduate level or corresponding experience, CIPD or working towards this or relevant business qualifications.
Skills/Experience:
Strong experience in direct recruitment via Linkedin
Prefer experience of using recruitment tools (Taleo)
Strong organisation skills and has a structured approach to workload.
Good planning skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of external market intelligence / competitor campaigns
Ability to work well in a team and motivate
Highly focused on delivering results
Motivated and passionate about recruitment.
Willing to travel and be adaptable and work in a flexible environment
