Description :

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
--> B.Tech / M.Tech / with an aggregate score of 70% or above from IIT / NIT / NITIE or any Premium Institute
--> Strong programming background with good technical skills on Core Java/SAP Cloud Platform
--> Knowledge in SQL Performance analysis, SQL Script, SQL views and good database knowledge
--> Experience in doing code reviews of unit tests and code for testability, optimal resource utilization - CPU and memory, maintainability
--> Hands on experience in agile methodologies - pair programming, test driven development
--> Hands on experience in architectural styles, design patterns, coding best practices, development environments
--> Proven ability to quickly acquire proficient development skills in new technologies

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
--> Perform high-level analysis of customer business processes and requirements and architect end-to-end solutions that meet those requirements on price/performance/scalability
--> Develop current and future state business architecture
--> Develop and maintain an aspirational architectural road map for the IoT Cloud enterprise
--> Provide architectural direction to Team Architects and Technical Leads
--> Develop and enforce technology best practices, especially for Cloud
--> Play a ‘Trusted Advisor’ role to the customer on Technology topics
--> De-escalation of critical situations with customer and/or internal stakeholders
--> Take end-to-end responsibility of design of complex solutions
--> Provide direction to development teams for solution realization and participate, as necessary, in coding, testing, documentation, go-live and maintenance support activities
--> Jointly responsible for ensuring the quality of the solution along with the team
--> Effective change management on projects by analyzing the impact of any new requirements on the project scope & timelines
--> Help the Go To Market teams shape deals, through evaluations, prototyping and participation in the presales cycle for creating competitive positioning of IoT Application Services
--> Driving adoption of newer cutting edge technology within the organization through knowledge sessions, adoption of the same in the solution
--> Work closely with other IoT development team members, SAP Technology development teams, external partners and customer teams to ensure successful project completion

WORK EXPERIENCE
--> 15+ years of experience in Java development
--> Multiyear, complex experience in developing Cloud Applications in Java
--> Recognized externally as a Subject Matter Expert
--> Broad experience with developing architecture roadmaps and performance optimizations
--> Comprehensive Product & Architecture expertise
--> Broad understanding of SAP’s strategy
