Description :

The Test Architect at SAP SDC is responsible for building automation frameworks, leading automation development and heading Functional/Automation testing teams. He/She is responsible for architecting, defining, planning, managing and executing various test cycles, in the area of manual functional testing, automation testing. He/She would be an individual contributor providing deep technical expertise in different types of testing using automation tools. This position will require strong scripting/coding skills and in depth knowledge on Test processes and test tools. He/She must possess excellent communication skills.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Lead functional/automation testing teams to develop test scripts
Review the automated test scripts written by the test engineers to make sure that they adhere to the established standards. Mentor and guide test automation teams to consistently achieve these standards
Responsible for reporting the testing status and managing expectations of the project Stakeholders
Analyzes test results and recommends corrective action, where necessary
Able to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously
Able to present ‘live demos’ on functional automation testing tools to customers
Significant hands-on experience in Selenium/HP UFT(QTP)/CBTA is a must
Hands-on experience in Test Management with HP ALM(QC) & Solution Manager is a must


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Graduate/Post Graduate in Engineering, Information Technologies
Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
Good communication skills with ability to interact with senior management, customers, peers, team members & multiple variety of stakeholders
Manual Functional Testing experience in Hybris, S4HANA
Proficient in VB scripting for HP UFT
Proficient in Python and ROBOT Framework for Selenium
Strong knowledge in the area of functional automation testing using HP UFT(QTP)/Selenium/CBTA
Good experience in using HP ALM(QC) & Solution Manager for test management
Must be able to architect/write automation frameworks for large projects
Must have played the role of a test architect for at least 2 large projects

Work Experience
6 to 8 years of experience in test automation on SAP GUI, web portals & Fiori Applications
