As a frontend software engineer for Walmart Global eCommerce, you'll be responsible for large- scale, e-commerce Web applications development and maintenance.
You'll interact with the business to provide robust technical solutions to business problems; you will interact with junior engineers to provide guidance as to best practices in web development. This position will support our efforts in front-end web development team.

--> Work with world-class technologies and product visionaries as a contributing member of the @WalmartLabs Search core engineering tools team. The category specialist tools and other engineering tools that we build are used daily by Merchants, Engineers and Executives to make informed decisions to improve the Search User Experience.
--> Work with Javascript and other related technologies to design and develop robust high-performance and scalable applications.
--> Write good code, get things done, and help out the team when needed
--> Assist product owners and designers in defining the product requirements by offering technical suggestions
--> Participate in the full lifecycle of the product development, with emphasis on the FE
--> Uphold the overall codebase quality by participating in design review, code review, unit testing and general technical discussion

Minimum Qualifications
--> BS/MS in Computer Science or related field +3 years experience building web applications
--> Solid understanding of computer science principles
--> Strong skills in writing scalable and performant JavaScript front-end programming using a web framework such as ReactJS and NodeJS for the backend.
--> Understanding of RESTful web services and browser-based MVC architecture and implementation
--> Experience working in formal development environment (version control system, code review, strict coding standard, documentation, unit test)
--> Good understanding of continuous integration tools and frameworks like CI, Jenkins, etc.
--> Experience working in Agile environments.
--> Experience architecting UI applications from scratch, with an emphasis on unit testing.
--> Experience dealing with performance tuning for very large scale.

Preferred Qualifications
--> Working knowledge of ReactJS, JQuery, node.js, and git preferred
--> Knowledge of ecmascript6 and V8
--> Working knowledge of MySQL or other NoSQL databases
