Requirements

Fuels aircraft by using refueling equipment; converting pounds to gallons; reading meters on fuel trucks; and completing service orders to communicate services rendered. Maintains fuel quality by performing inspections on the fuel; adding oil to aircraft, washing windshield, checking tire pressure, etc.; loading and unloading baggage; connecting and disconnecting ground power units (GPU’s) and performing lavatory service.
Tows and parks aircraft, communicates with the tower for clearance on taxiways; operating tow bars and tug; positioning aircraft in hangars; performing operations during inclement weather (for example, during rain or snow).
Maintains equipment quality by performing inspections of ground support equipment (GSE); verifying fail-safes are operational; performing oil changes and minor maintenance; and documenting inspection and maintenance results.
Serves customers by answering the telephone and greeting them upon arrival; facilitating aircraft departure; gathering information on services needed on site and in advance of arrival (for example, fuel, lavatory, hangar) and ensuring needs are met (for example, making car rental arrangements, reserving hotel rooms).
The Line Service Technician will comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; and applying these in executing business and practices.
Completes work assignments and priorities in Ramp Operations by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, Co-Workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Activities
Moves, lifts, carries and places merchandise and supplies weighting up to 75 pounds without assistance.
Moves up and down a ladder and up and down stairs
Communicates effectively in person or by using telecommunications equipment
Squats, kneels, or crawls for extended periods of time.
Creates documents, reports, etc., using a writing instrument (such as pen or pencil) or computer or tablet
Grasps, turns, and manipulates objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Visually verifies information, often in small print
Visually inspects equipment
Safely operates large power equipment
Reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Safely operates a motor vehicle.

Work Environment
Moves through narrow, confined spaces such as stacks of merchandise or supplies, storage areas
Moves over sloping, uneven surfaces such as the parking lot, building perimeter, receiving bays, sections of the facility under repair
Moves over slippery surfaces in the work area as well as other areas that may become slippery during inclement weather
Works in areas requiring exposure to varying temperatures (outside), extreme heat or cold, and/or wet damp or drafty conditions
Works at heights, on Ladders, or boom lift
Works overnight as required
Works varying shifts as required

Position Schedule & Rate of Pay
Hourly pay is $13.00 per hour
Schedule is 40 hours a week, there is a rotation from 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, & 10:30 am to 9:00 pm; with the possibility of covering some after-hours operations. The position will rotate Holidays and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications
Ability to pass motor vehicle background check.
Valid driver's license.
