Description :

As a Design Leader, you will be part of a Global User Experience design team defining the experience principles, guidelines and design artifacts to support the end-to-end digital experiences of products and solutions on web and mobile platforms. This enables us to empower our design teams and offer our clients a compelling product where we apply design thinking – building minimal viable products (MVPs) and simultaneously validate solutions with engaging end users, maintain a high degree of cross-functional collaboration and an agile development process.Our UX team is growing; and you will have a direct impact on the design and development` of the Pitney Bowes rapidly expanding products and solutions.
The Design Leader is resourceful, innovative and self-motivated. This individual must have strong conceptual problem-solving skills. Effectively articulates even the most abstract ideas, and strives to keep the lines of communication open at every point throughout the process. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a good handle on UX best practices and lean methodologies. Has enough experience to direct and manage a talented/diverse design team.
The Design Leader will be expected to influence UX Strategy in at least one of the following domain areas: Data Products, Customer Information Management, Location Intelligence and CES.
In addition, this leader will build world-class design talent in our India offices across all business domains to scale and drive excellent user experiences with the product development teams.
A day in the life…Co-own the incremental and prioritized evolving of Pitney Bowes Design.

Coach, mentor and manage day to day work of shared design resources consisting of visual designers and interactions designers
Execute UX-based projects to refine, develop and enforce interface design, branding and UX best practices
Collaborate with other Leaders within the Global User Experience to deliver the Design System updates
Collaborate with Domain Projects UX architects; contributors, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to help projects design deliverables align Brand and Design System.
Execute UX-based projects to refine, develop and enforce interface design, branding and UX best practices
Develop detailed deliverables effectively communicate UX designs and product requirements
Maintain expert-level knowledge of competitive products and experiences
Effectively communicate concepts with authority and conviction
Research and resolve issues using appropriate resources

Qualification:
Total Experience- 15 to 20 years
B.Des /M.Des Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial) from a Top Tier Institute.
10+ years of solid work experience as an individual contributor with job roles such as UX designer, Interaction designer, UX Architect or Visual designer
Must have minimum 5 years of work experience as a team lead, supervisor or design manager
Must be able to review a portfolio of work – highlighting individual contribution
Passion to create or design direct the creation of beautiful, clean and purposeful designs
Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite/prototyping tools, and Design Thinking Tools such as Experience Mapping, Research-Based Personas and UX Research
Excellent design pitch and critique skills
Proven ability to collaborate with remote teams and working with different time zones with expected light travel
Clear and effective written, visual and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills, and proven track record of presenting to and influencing stakeholders and senior management
Ability to research and resolve issues using appropriate resources
Understanding of modern web technology stack – HTML, CSS, JavaScript Framework, Bootstrap, FontAwesome.
